Kotishevskiy strengthens Enisey

Small forward is signed for the next season.

PBL team Enisey Krasnoyarsk confirmed transfer of 27-year Russian player Aleksey Kotishevskiy. Contract has been signed for one season. Last year Kotishevskiy played for Spartak St. Petersburg in PBL, VTB United League and Eurocup. His earlier teams include likes of Ural-Great, CSK VVS, Avtodor, Radnicki and Russian national all-students team. Also he was called for the first national team.

Enisey's director Victor Petrokovskiy commented on the club website that Krasnoyarsk was following Kotishevskiy for a long time and already tried to sign him. 'Aleksey could play both guard and forward positions but we saw him as SF' he said.

Kotishevskiy exclusively told RU-Basket.com that he is glad with his move to Enisey:

- This is the great chance for me, he said. In Krasnoyarsk I will get more playing time and will play against best Rissian teams in PBL championship. This is what I need now: to play basketball on the highest level.

- Have you already met your new teammates?

- Not yet. I just checked on Internet with whom I will play. There are plenty of well known names and I played with some of them earlier. Thus it will be no problem for me to adapt.

- What can you say about last season in St. Petersburg?

- Unfortunately I got injured and missed half of the season. But now it is behind me. I am ready to play my heart out.
