Yakovenko: the best in UNICS

Artem Yakovenko got 16+9 against Khimki.

PF Artem Yakovenko good perfomances in last matches earned him the spot in UNICS starting five. More of that he led his team in scoring and minutes in a match against BC Khimki. In 29 minutes Yakovenko collected 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and 2 assists. In first qurter Artem denied Thomas Kelati and grabbed rebound in a single episode and few seconds later picked up ball under the rim again. Four of nine his rebounds were offensive. Yakovenko had 100% percentage from 2-point zone and free throw line. His 16 points were good enough to make him the most scoring player in both teams. PBL official site named him one of two heroes of the match despite the fact that UNICS lost the game 65-73.
