Yakovenko & C smashed Pardubice

BC NN won last game of Eurochallenge's Last-16.

Nizhny Novgorod dominated Pardubice 86-65 at home and spectacularly ended 5-game losing streak in the tournament. First quarter was true nightmare for czech team — russians won it 25-3. Semen Antonov and Artem Yakovenko, who were playing in starting line-up, made a good contribution to team's success. In first quarter Antonov scored after alley-oop and made it 11-0. Semen totaled 8 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and 1 steal. Also he was best player in plus-minus: +33. Artem Yakovenko got game MVP award according to FIBA-Europe official site. He collected 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocked shots and 3 steals.

This win allowed russian team to finish third in Group K of Eurochallenge. Pardubice felt to fouth place. Antonov and Yakovenko are two top scorers of their team. Semen averaged 11,2 points and 4,7 rebounds in 12 games, Artem — 11,1 points and 4,4 rebonds. And both made top-15 of the whole tournament in blocked shots.
